This is a daytime, Monday-Friday position with a casual dress code, working in an inclusive work environment.What will you be doing? As an Assistant Sample Coordinator with our Sample Management-Early Development team in Madison, WI. you will work as part of a cohesive team and perform a variety of Sample Management responsibilities including labeling, receipt, transferring, tracking, inventory, archival, shipping, and disposal of samples and/or materials while ensuring that services to both internal and external customers are provided in a timely manner. Samples are biological samples from animal research for drugs in early development phase
- Use tracking systems as appropriate to maintain sample and study integrity.
- Documentation of accurate protocol and relevant documentation interpretation (i.e., Study Protocols, Sample Analysis Outline, client paperwork).
- Document and communicate discrepancies to appropriate personnel, and assist with problem solving.
- Supports process improvement initiatives.
- Ensures adherence to company Global/Regional/Local SOP's as appropriate.
- Complies with relevant Environmental, Health and Safety at work regulations and Company Policies.
- Maintains storage units.
- Ensures company procedures are followed in relation to security and access to relevant areas and data or sample integrity.
Education/Qualifications/Skills - HS Diploma, or GED required, some college preferred but not required
- Good keyboarding skills, Ability to use several software packages i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook
Schedule: 7:30am - 4:15pm, Monday through Friday with some overtime as needed.
Pay: $18/hr
