Winsupply Sourcing Services (WSS) operates ~2 million square feet of wholesaling warehouse and yard space, while offering inventory and vendor management, to be the premier vendor partner for our customer base.
Our customer base consists of aspiring entrepreneurs who own and operate their own wholesale distribution businesses, now over 650 businesses nationwide. Therefore, this job provides the opportunity to have a direct impact on the success of entrepreneurial small businesses across the United States, and in particular, those that rely on WSS to improve their inventory turnover. In this role, you would be managing the end-to-end Winsupply Sourcing inventory process – including inventory procurement, management, and reverse logistics.

Key Job Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end WSS inventory process including procurement, management, and reverse logistics for all vendors with a focus on direct-to-customer orders.
- Maintain the WSS purchasing software suite of systems including WISE, LogPro, WMi, Trucommerce/Datalliance, and others.
- Perform tasks in the purchasing software system to facilitate the WSS stocking strategy including new item setup and existing item maintenance.
- Perform maintenance tasks in the purchasing software system related to item obsolescence and replacement items to facilitate the smooth transition of inventory during product transitions.
- Perform maintenance tasks in the purchasing software system to ensure shipping dates are accurate for purchase orders placed across all vendors in WSS
- Manage and perform tasks related to product shortages and damages across all vendors in WSS
- Ability to adapt and integrate the above multiple software programs to provide seamless service to our customer base.
- Review and resolve alerts generated from the WSS purchasing software systems and other sources.
- Monitor and manage vendor KPIs with regard to fill rates, inventory turns, and days on hand.
- Review and analyze historical data to assist in developing and implementing inventory strategies by working with Vendor Relations and other members of the purchasing team to monitor trends and seasonality.
- Implements solutions to bring performance metrics within departmental benchmarks.
- Networks with senior internal personnel to make effective business decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
- B.S./B.A. in Supply Chain, Logistics or related field and/or 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficient with office technology and data driven.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience with purchasing and inventory management.
