SUMMARY
The Assistant Store Manager will assist the Store Manager in overall function of the store and in controlling all activities relating to the store's operation.

Handles large multiple sales and assists CSAs to build multiple salesOpens and closes the storeAssists Store Manager and maintains well-documented financial controls, maintains a clean and orderly store environment, serving as an appropriate role model to all sales staffAssists Store Manager in creating an “Effective Sales Team” as evidenced by motivated and knowledgeable sales staff, sales floor is adequately coveredSupervisory duties entail coaching of departmental staff and new hire checklistsMay act on behalf of Store Manager and assist with 40/80 reviewsMay communicate with manager/buyers regarding fit, popularity, etc., of merchandiseWill fully understand and utilize all store software systems such as WebIM and Store forceWill assist the Store Managers and have a full understanding of all KPI TargetsEstablishing and maintaining Guest Services through WE$ACTEstablishes repeat clientele, i.e., tickler file and thank you notesAssists in the upkeep of the store: maintaining store displays and merchandisingMay assist with inventory, checking in, and transfers of merchandiseHandles each customer in a courteous and gracious manner with an attentive response to all customersMust have complete knowledge of the store's stock in clothing, shoes, T-shirts, gifts, souvenirs, sundries, etc.May expect to work at least one six-day work week, with proper OT, during December or JanuaryTo conduct him/herself in the spirit of the MRG mission, vision, core values, and organizational healthOther duties may be assignedPHYSICAL DEMANDS
