Millburn Township Public Schools Millburn, New Jersey ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT Central Office, 12-month position Available ImmediatelyQualifications: - Master's Degree from an accredited college or university (doctorate preferred).
- New Jersey Department of Education Certificate - School Administrator.
- A minimum of five years of teaching experience.
- A minimum of five years of administrative or central office experience.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in the development and supervision of programs and staff to effect change.
- Strong communication skills.
- Required criminal history background check and proof of U.S. citizenship or legal resident alien status.
- Must possess strong managerial, budgetary, and educational leadership skills.
- Demonstrates a high degree of knowledge and understanding of learning theory, curriculum, various instructional models, staff, and research skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of effective principles of teaching and learning.
- Demonstrated ability to function effectively in a diverse school community.
- Demonstrated aptitude or competence for assigned responsibilities.
- Strong community public relations skills.
- Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent may find appropriate.
