We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will assist the Superintendent in managing daily operations on luxury residential construction sites, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Description

  • Support the Superintendent in overseeing all phases of construction, from pre-construction through project completion.

  • Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to maintain workflow and ensure schedules are met.

  • Monitor job site safety and enforce compliance with all OSHA standards and company protocols.

  • Perform daily site walkthroughs to identify and resolve any issues, ensuring all work meets quality standards.

  • Assist in managing materials and supplies, ensuring accurate deliveries and proper inventory control.

  • Maintain detailed project documentation, including daily logs, progress reports, and site photographs.

  • Communicate effectively with clients, architects, designers, and the project team to address questions and concerns.

Profile

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in construction, with a focus on high-end residential projects.

  • Strong understanding of luxury construction techniques, materials, and finishes.

  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of NYC building codes, regulations, and permitting processes.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • OSHA 30 certification is required; additional safety training is a plus.
