The Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources provides leadership to District employees in all areas of personnel management; is responsible for the operation of all activities of the Human Resources Department; is responsible for the recruiting, hiring, training, assigning, evaluating and disciplining of certificated and classified personnel; is responsible for the design, improvement and implementation of the District's certificated, classified, confidential and administrative personnel services; assures that personnel services and procedures are performed in an effective and accurate manner according to Federal and State laws; administers District policy and employee collective bargaining agreements; serves as a resource for local school personnel functions; selects, trains and evaluates all employees as assigned.View Job DescriptionRequirements / QualificationsMust hold a valid California Administrative Services Credential Minimum of three (3) years teaching experience Minimum of five (5) years successful administrative experience Prior experience as a school site principal preferred Master's Degree in education or a related field is preferred Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred Human Resource experienceCover Letter of Introduction Resume Three Current Professional Letters of Reference TB and DOJ clearance required upon offer of employmentComments and Other InformationThis position also offers: $1,000 Doctorate Stipend $1,500 Bilingual Stipend District health benefits plan includes medical, dental, and vision for employee, spouse and dependentsFor more information about this position, go to the pdf file here
