Job Title

Assistant Technical Designer

Job Purpose

The Assistant Technical Designer will be responsible for supporting garment creation at GOAT USA. The Assistant Technical Designer will collaborate closely with the Technical Design Lead and report to the VP of Product Development + Production. This role is critical for ensuring an accurate and efficient product design process.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

  • Accurately measure fit, Pre-Production samples and Top of Production Samples.
  • Create garment/product BOM sheets based on direction from Product Development
  • Update all Tech Packs with any changes/revisions made to product as needed
  • Track production samples and communication with factories to ensure sample arrival is on time
  • Attend fit sessions and take detailed notes
  • Assist with keeping sample library organized
  • Assist TD team with pattern corrections and/or draping for selected styles
  • Build collaborative relationships with cross-functional teams, including design, production, QC, and sales
  • Work with multiple product categories (tops, bottoms, outerwear, accessories) for Mens/Womens/Youth knit + woven
  • Identify and call out any fit/construction/workmanship issues to be addressed and communicate all corrections and revisions to factory

Requirements

● Bachelor's Degree

● Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

● Strong communication, leadership and team management skills

● Excellent organizational and time management skills.

● Exceptional interpersonal and conflict-resolution skills.

● Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)

● Full-Time, non-exempt.

● Normal working hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday; must be flexible to work evenings and occasional weekends.
