Grace Fellowship has 3 locations; Latham, Halfmoon, and Saratoga.Position SummaryReporting to the Central Operations Pastor the Assistant to the Central Operations Pastor will support the key operational functions of Grace Fellowship. The Assistant to the Director of Central Operations will work with a multitude of departments such as the Human Resources Department, Business Office, and Management Team. Success in this position requires a high level of trust and the ability to be discreet in sensitive matters. The ideal candidate will be able to handle multiple projects at once, able to work independently and part of a team. How You'll Make an ImpactStaff Culture Support

• Oversee staff appreciation gifts, culture events, or staff appreciation events
• Support the operations of any All-Staff Meetings or Central Support Meetings
• Organize annual Staff Retreat and/or Staff Perk Day
• Assist in the planning and execution of the annual Management Team Retreats and seasonal staff events
• Attend staff meetings, staff retreats, leadership meetings and corporate events
• Coordinate and execute all logistics for all Elder Meetings

Administrative Support

• Manage, process, and submit expenses through Nexonia
• Database entry as needed
• Special Project(s) Coordination - both coordinate and execute on projects supporting the Director of Central Operations
• Receive and respond to congregant emails
• Schedule appointments and meetings, including reserving meeting rooms as necessary
• Screen phone calls
• Assist with miscellaneous research and special projects
• Arrange for conference attendance, airline tickets, rental car, hotel reservations, etc., as necessary
• Check grammar and spelling; make revisions of various documents
• Responsible for creating and updating various spreadsheets
• Oversee revisions and updates of various Process Documents, such as the Wedding Process and Funeral Process

What You Must Bring to This Role

• Associates degree from a 2-year college and/or 4 years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Demonstrated history of decision making
• A history of exceptional attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills & the ability to effectively work with a wide range of individuals
• Proven ability to communicate clearly, both verbally and written
• A vibrant relationship with Jesus and an active Covenant Member of Grace Fellowship
• Working knowledge of Google Suite & Excel
