Title: Assistant Varsity Boys Ice Hockey Coach

Position Summary:

Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School seeks an Assistant Boys Varsity Ice Hockey Coach for the upcoming winter 2024-2025 season.

The 2024-2025 winter season runs from Monday, December 2nd through early March. Practices are after school/evenings. This successful program has varsity and two junior varsity levels.

Duties and Responsibilities (Not limited to):

The assistant coach is responsible for helping the head coach with all aspects of coaching a high level ice hockey program while adhering to rules and guidelines set forth by the school, Dual County League and MIAA.

Expectations:

* Teaching the L-S Athletics Curriculum

* Must be able to take the MIAA Coaching Course

* Ability to drive the school van to away games

* Ability to work with high school population

* Understanding of high school sports operations

* Work well with high school students, parents and other coaches

* Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills

* Understands the importance of fun in high school athletics

* Be prepared, punctual and ethical

Experience Preferred:

* Experience coaching hockey

* Experience playing hockey at the high school level or higher

Stipend as per contract.
