• Must possess a High School diploma
• Extensive experience with football
• Strong organizational skills
• Must be able to work within a coordinated football curriculum from middle school to varsity level
• Strong personal and social skills with the ability to effectively communicate using a variety of media

Preferences:

• Experience and/or willingness to organize and assist with in-season and off-season practices, workouts, and competitions
• Possesses knowledge of the MHSAA football rules and regulations
• Willingness to build meaningful positive relationships with staff and student body
• Possesses the ability to motivate athletes to work toward program philosophies and goals

Job Description:

• Coordinate and assist in-season and off-season practice and conditioning opportunities
• Assist the program under the direction of the Varsity Head Coach
• Teach and instruct the sport of football, while working to develop and emphasize positive character traits in all athletes
• Provide coaching and guidance to athletes prior to, during, and after competition
