Job Description:
Responsible for financial services and all business office functions for the campus. This position will develop, create implement and monitor major policies for business operations; responsible for the budget, purchasing, accounts payable, and student financial services areas (student accounts (bursar) offices). This position will work with individuals on campus at all levels and roles to ensure the University's financial policies, procedures, operations, and practices are acted upon, efficient and effective in meeting the financial and strategic goals and objectives of the institution. This position will ensure the fiscal health of the campus. This position has the authority to assist in determining, creating, and affecting policy for SUNY Poly. Other reasonable duties as assigned.

* The Assistant Vice President is responsible for making all financial recommendations.
* This position will work with individuals on campus at all levels and roles to ensure the University's financial policies, procedures, operations, and practices are acted upon, efficient and effective in meeting the financial and strategic goals and objectives of the institution.
* This position will be the internal control coordinator and assist the Internal Control Administrator with ensuring internal controls are present throughout the institution.
* This position will vet and work with General Counsel for procurement, affiliation and miscellaneous contracts for the institution.
* This position will ensure the fiscal health of the campus.
* This position has the authority to assist in determining, creating, and affecting policy for SUNY Poly.
* Other reasonable duties as assigned.
Salary: $120,000 - $130,000

Minimum Requirements:
* BS degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field from college or University accredited by the US Department of Education or internationally recognized accrediting organization.
* Advanced Microsoft Office Skills (Word, Excel, Power Point)
* Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
* High level of attention to detail, organization, project management skills, and possess analytical skills
Preferred Requirements:
* Master's Degree in business, accounting or another related field
* SUNY Experience in the areas of Accounting, Budgeting, Procurement and/or Student Accounts
* 3-5 years in a supervisory/management role
* Experience with Banner and Argos
