ALL Inc. in St. Paul Minnesota is currently hiring for an Assistant Warehouse Manager.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Under Warehouse Managers supervision enforce company policies and provide secure and a safe environment for warehouse personnel

* Manage night-load warehouse personnel, includes scheduling, staffing, training/coaching, performance evaluations, disciplinary actions, and performance recognition

* Manage picking, staging, and shipping orders as scheduled daily

* Sort shipping tickets for next day deliveries, route the deliveries by destination, work load and truck space availability

* Review tickets for next day deliveries, point out special requirements for specific deliveries

* Prepare shipping manifests for local deliveries

* Notify proper department/individual of missing, incomplete, or inaccurate information on the order

* Comply with receiving/shipping procedures to ensure proper physical inventory control

* Daily review tickets and shipping manifests with drivers, reschedule incomplete deliveries

* Maintain the cleanliness of the dock at the end of each day

* Coordinate/manage recycling (no product left on ground, trailers closed and locked each night)

* Act as back-up for warehouse manager

* Act as safety coordinator for the Warehouse

* Other duties as assigned by management

EDUCATIONAL / TRAINING / JOB-RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

* Bachelors degree is desired

* Strong working knowledge of warehouse functions and operations

* Customer oriented, strong verbal and written communication skills, self motivated, and excellent organizational skills required

* Strong team and individual performance management skills

WORKING CONDITIONS AND REQUIRED PHYSICAL EFFORT

* Normal office conditions, including telephone and PC work

* Occasionally lift, push, and pull 100-800 lbs. appliances (using proper tools

* Occasionally drive delivery truck

* Occasionally operate forklift
