ProgramIdentifies performance-improvement issuesProvides in-service training to all disciplines as necessary Participates in providing family/patient educationAssist in developing the skills of staff and performs staff evaluations Reviews patients' chartsPerforms patients' assessmentAdministers air/oxygen and medications modalities Performs ventilator-care modalitiesPerforms blood-gas analysis CPR/intubations Attends interdisciplinary roundsPerforms the function of electronic documentationPerforms any other related functionsMinimum Qualifications1. Graduation from an Associate Degree program in Respiratory Therapy approved by the New York State Board of Education or a program determined equivalent in accordance with the Commissioner of the State Board of Education's regulations; and, 2. Possession of a current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of New York; and, 3.
