Role Overview:

This position will assist with the HR monthly expense process and handle standard reporting and analysis of expenses to explain cost drivers and trends.

What You'll Do:

  • Maintain understanding of and ability to apply accounting standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company guidelines in accounting related matters.
  • Perform analysis of monthly departmental spending vs budgets, including the re-forecast.
  • Process journal entries in SAP.
  • Handle invoice processing for multiple HR areas and track to budget.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting procedures.
  • Develop and implement process improvements and create efficiencies.
  • Track and manage the discretionary spend budget.
  • Create guidelines for the Employee Recognition Program (Applause) and monitor expenses.
  • Reconcile the Procurement card (p-card) & Amex card expenses across HR.
  • Create and maintain monthly budget calendar.
  • Manage and maintain SharePoint.
  • What You'll Bring:

  • Bachelor's degree with a major in accounting and/or equivalent work-related experience preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience with accounting, expense management, reporting, reconciliations, or financial controls.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company systems (SAP), Analysis for Office and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g., Macros) preferred.
  • A thorough knowledge of business procedures and its effect on accounting.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively, both verbally and written. Ability to prioritize assignments/projects and multi-task within established time constraints.
  • Pay Transparency

    Salary Range: $47,500-$80,000

    Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

    Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
