Our client is seeking a highly motivated and bilingual (Spanish/English) attorney with 1-3 years of experience in personal injury law. The ideal candidate will have experience on either the plaintiff or defense side of personal injury cases and will possess a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a desire to contribute to a collaborative legal team. If candidate is a recent law school graduate, our client is seeking mock trial experience at a minimum. Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a caseload of personal injury matters from inception through resolution.
- Represent clients in legal proceedings, such as depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances.
- Draft and file pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
- Conduct legal research and provide counsel to clients regarding their cases.
- Negotiate settlements and manage all aspects of the litigation process.
- Maintain strong communication with clients and provide regular updates on case progress.
- Collaborate with colleagues and other legal professionals to ensure optimal case outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in the state of Florida.
- 1-3 years of personal injury experience (plaintiff or defense side).
- Fluent in both Spanish and English, with the ability to communicate effectively in both languages.
- Strong legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
- Excellent negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage a high-volume caseload with efficiency and attention to detail.
