Job Title: Associate Attorney (Real Estate Financing)

Salary: $175,000+

Location: Manhattan, NY

This position offers a unique opportunity to work on sophisticated Real Estate finance matters, particularly agency lending transactions. The successful candidate will join a team renowned for its expertise in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac financing programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Represent lenders in transactions involving agency financing, with a focus on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac programs.
• Draft, review, and negotiate loan documents and related agreements.
• Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning compliance, and property-level assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, agency counterparts, and third-party vendors to facilitate successful deal closings.
• Provide guidance to junior team members and contribute to training initiatives (for senior-level candidates).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience in Real Estate financing / transactions
• Demonstrated expertise in Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending.
• J.D. + NY admission
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with a client-focused approach and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Enthusiastic about sports (desirable for networking events)
