Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Attorney to join our growing personal injury law firm. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of personal injury law, excellent litigation skills, and a passion for advocating for injured clients.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of personal injury claims, including car accidents, motorcycle accidents, truck accidents, premises liability, medical malpractice, and wrongful death.
• Interview clients, gather evidence, and prepare case files.
• Draft and file pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
• Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Negotiate settlements with insurance companies.
• Represent clients in court proceedings.
• Advise clients on legal options and strategies.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide excellent client service.
• Stay abreast of legal developments in personal injury law.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active bar admission in NY State.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience from a small/midsize Plaintiff Personal Injury firm in Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx, Nassau County.
• Strong understanding of personal injury law principles, including negligence, causation, and damages.
• Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Passion for advocating for injured clients.
