McManimon, Scotland & Baumann, LLC is seeking talented and motivated associate attorneys for several positions. Candidates must be admitted to practice in New Jersey. Must have excellent drafting skills, outstanding analytical ability, and exceptional academic background. Candidates also should display a desire for teamwork, significant responsibility, and client interaction.   • Higher Education Transactions/Education Regulatory Compliance and similar work involving New Jersey's Public Universities. Candidates should have significant experience in this area.

  • Public finance and redevelopment. Work in the redevelopment practice area will include redevelopment and development projects and issues such as contract negotiation, project finance analytics, land use, affordable housing, municipal governance, state and federal tax incentives and complex structured financing. Work in the public finance practice area will include authorization, sale and issuance of municipal securities to fund capital projects, including representation of State and local government issuers, county improvement authorities, investment banks and trustee banks, among others.

  • Municipal government department. The position involves all aspects of municipal government work and the representation of public bodies, including but not limited to work in general public sector law, with a focus on public contracting, complex procurement, employment and labor, and affordable housing. The work will involve research and the drafting of legal documents including resolutions, ordinances, contracts, agreements, and legal opinions. In addition, the position will involve attendance at public meetings and hearings. Candidates should have significant experience in this area.
