Citibank, N.A. seeks an Associate Banker Senior for its New York, NY location.Duties: Stay abreast of developments within the Asset Management and Wealth Planning field, specifically serving Mexican clients. Execute all types of Investment, Banking, and Credit transactions within the Mexico client base. Assist the Banker in the creation of sales and marketing strategies designed to generate revenue growth and to acquire new target clients with a focus on Investments, Credits, and Wealth Planning. Assist the Banker with prospecting by conducting new client/prospect research, generating leads, networking to identify referrals, and coordinating client events. Assist the Banker in profiling, qualifying, and converting prospects into Citi Private Bank clients, as well as deepening the existing client relationship through deep-dive analysis. Provide accurate and timely revenue tracking and deal pipeline reports and other relevant information to the Banker. Provide day-to-to-day support to Banker on documentation such as account opening and closing, loan disbursals, research, among others. Provide complete service support to client, including solving complex client inquiries. Ensure appropriate documentation related to KYC/AML from the client and ensure all aspects of client records and documentation are completed and updated. Assess risk when business decisions are made. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite, in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.Requirements: Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Finance or a related field, and three (3) years of Asset Management industry experience in the job offered, or in a related occupation. Three (3) years of experience must include: Experience with investments, tax rules, and culture adeptness for the Mexican jurisdiction; Managing relationships both internal stakeholders and external clients; Knowledge of Regulatory Compliance and Controls for ultra-high net worth clients; Implementation of wealth management tools available to clients for their estate planning; Contributing to the effective communication with high net-worth clients to achieve aggressive expansion goals for the ultra-high net worth Mexican portfolio and LATAM market; and Knowledge of lending platform, policies, and risk parameters.
