Job Description:
The Business Office of Emmanuel College is seeking a highly motivated accounting/finance professional to join a successful team. Reporting to the Controller, the Associate Controller will facilitate timely, accurate reconciliations and internal/external financial reporting, assist with managing annual audits and participate in the preparation of the College's Federal 990 filings. The Associate Controller will also be responsible for Endowment Accounting, overseeing the College's procurement policies, cash management, grants management and helping to ensure the College operates efficiently and with sound business practices.
Requirements:
Our ideal candidate will demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to the College's mission and the value of Catholic higher education. We are seeking a candidate with a Master's degree and/or Certified Public Accountant with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office particularly Excel. Knowledge of Ellucian Colleague is highly desirable. Candidates must have a proven ability to contribute to a fast-paced, detail-oriented, deadline-driven, collegial team.
