Associate Copy Editor (Open to Remote) - Penguin Random House, LLC : Job Details

Copyedits and proofreads all stages of reprint corrections and paperback reissues, both covers/jackets and interiors and any new material for updated editions. Ensures consistency of style and accuracy of spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and verifies the accuracy of all book information. Works closely with Managing Editorial and the Reprints team to prioritize workload and meet shifting deadlines. Maintains internal logic of projects and resolves problems through discussions with managing editors, editors, design, and production, and act as a consultant regarding copyediting and proofreading questions. Supports the rest of the Copyediting team with frontlist work when possible.
