You'll learn more about this during the recruitment process.POSITION SUMMARY:The Associate Creative Director/Copywriter is responsible for leading the development and execution of various advertising materials for Universal Destinations & Experiences. Works with creative, strategic, and other business partners to create effective and compelling advertising and creative content that spans all mediums. A respected thought leader who brings fresh, innovative thinking to campaigns. Effectively presents work to partners and senior leadership. Leads teams in brainstorms and mentors other creatives in the development and execution of work.MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:Develops innovative and powerful creative work that both meets strategic business goals and demonstrates a thorough understanding of the UDX brand. Presenting creative ideas to peers and executive leadership. Plays a productive and essential on-set role in video productions.Leads brainstorms with team members and then providing ongoing direction as work is developedSupervises other creatives (including direct reports) and provides thought leadership and feedback to projects.Collaborate with stakeholders, UO departments, strategists, project managers and creative partners, as well as external partners.Understand and actively participate in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established UO policy, procedures, training, and team member involvement activities.Perform other duties as assigned.EDUCATION:Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Advertising, or related field and/or advertising portfolio school.EXPERIENCE:7+ years experience in advertising agencies is not required but highly desired.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:Proven leader capable of leading other creatives and in creating innovative work that elevates the UDX brand.Website portfolio that shows a track record of creative work that got results for clients.Experience in advertising agencies is not required but highly desired.Keeps abreast of new technologies, campaigns, and industry (both advertising and tourism) developments.Ability to stay organized and manage workload of yourself and others.Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Consistent attendance is a job requirementYour talent, skills and experience will be rewarded with a competitive compensation package.Universal is not accepting unsolicited assistance from search firms for this employment opportunity.
