Responsibilities:

  • The Associate Director will be responsible for senior client relationship management
  • Will actively contribute and participate in new business opportunities
  • Fosters strong agency-vendor relations to develop comprehensive media plans that successfully accomplish client goals
  • Stay abreast and provide thought leadership on innovation within the Social and Search space and bring new opportunities to the table
  • Management and development of junior staff
  • Contribute to the development and execution of training programs for direct reports and education programs for other agency departments
  • Provide strategic guidance to overall media team as well as biddable media team in order to ensure flawless activation strategies
  • Help develop account planning, budgeting and new activation documents.
  • Ensure Social media best practices in alignment with Pharma medical, legal and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist Director of Biddable and team in continuing to build search/social practice by evolving organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis and media planning
  • Evaluate client content and collateral to develop meaningful & compliant search messaging
  • Stimulates team productivity and growth by allocation of assignments which combine to make productive and effective use of each person's skills, as well as motivating their interests and challenging their minds

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7+ years of Social experience
  • 2+ years of team management
  • Experience building, launching, setting up and QA'ing accounts across multiple search engines and social media platforms (YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn)
  • Proficiency in Excel, including extensive work with pivot tables and data manipulation.
  • Must be detail oriented, have exceptional organizational skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Highly developed analytical and online research skills. Familiarity with biddable media analytics tools (such as Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics)
  • Google & Bing Ads certified, Facebook Blueprint Certified
  • Past experience with 3 rd party bid management tools. Familiarity with Google Marketing Platform a plus
  • High level of comfort presenting to senior clients and senior internal team members
  • Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical individuals
  • Ability to translate and communicate campaign success to clients
  • Positive energy and a team player who can carry SSCG values
  • Healthcare industry knowledge a plus
