For more information on SCA, visit .ResponsibilitiesAs part of SCA Health Marketing & Communications team, the Associate Director, Event Strategy will lead event strategy and execution by providing strategic vision and excelling in logistics management experience with an emphasis on internal events. This includes responsibility for end-to-end event management (including agency/vendor involvement). This professional is responsible for supporting group meetings, board meetings and large-scale events with 500+ attendees.The ideal candidate must demonstrate the ability to prioritize, multi-task and provide the highest level of service to the needs of our teammates and stakeholders while building memorable event experiences. Attention to detail and a passion for service excellence is essential for success in this role.Principal Responsibilities:Work with SCA leadership and teammates to develop agenda for events including speakers, topics, community service, wellbeing and other areas required.Manage keynote production and breakout sessions including both internal and external speakers.Collaborate across departments to contribute to event design, agenda development, brand building and event communications.Provide consistent and clear communications of events program to all stakeholders, including internal briefing documents for events.Design and produce the best quality events, with attention to the details, ensuring a flawless experience for SCA attendees, sponsors, vendor partners and volunteers.Manage and execute RFP creation, room block management, technology requirements, production and schedules, food and beverage and BEO approval, as well as pre-, on-site and post- event logistics and billing as required.Partner closely with content and communications teams to consult on event theme, content and run of show.Develop and monitor timelines for events, working with communications team to ensure adequate and proper promotion/communications plan is established.Forecast, budgeting and managing various meeting revenue areas and expense budgets to meet SCA objectives and goals.Review financial information for accuracy, such as invoices for services and materials; hotel, vendor invoices, and assist in the preparation of the final financial reports.Oversee metrics, analytics and evaluation to measure success of events, enabling continuous improvement and optimization of strategies.QualificationsMinimum 5 years meeting planning and logistics experience in a multi-departmental environment, preferably in the field of healthcare.5+ years of people management experience.Bachelor's Degree.Strong technical background and experience with company/organization wide databases, web and website applications and preferred meetings industry technology software tools (meeting planning logistics, Web/Smartphone, registration/badge, evaluation/surveys tools, and CE software applications).Proficient in the latest versions of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and mail merges; Cvent and other meeting technology platforms.Highly developed interpersonal skills, ability to network, and demonstrated high level of confidence and poise with a strong member service orientation.Demonstrated personal integrity in negotiations with vendors and contractors.Ability to travel domestically to support projects and business requirements.Experience in video and webinar communications platforms (Zoom, Kultura, Teams, GoToWebinar, etc.).#J-18808-Ljbffr
