ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR RESEARCH AND EVALUATIONFunctional Position Title: ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR RESEARCH AND EVALUATIONPosition Number: 00058807Appointment Type: RegularLocation: New OrleansSchool/Division: MEDICAL SCHOOLDepartment: Community and Population Health ProgramPosition Summary: Reporting to the Director of the Community and Population Health Program within the CHVE, the incumbent will independently plan and execute a portfolio of national research and evaluation of programs focused on improving population health. This includes the development and execution of research and evaluation of programs focused on workforce development, capacity-building, sustainability, and/or improving health outcomes; developing and offering training on evaluation; and producing academic products and technical reports. Responsibilities include program management and evaluation, staff oversight, policy development and implementation, communication with external stakeholders, and research on the community health workforce.Minimum Qualifications:
  • Required Education: Master's in Health, Social Science, or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in program evaluation, management, coordination, or administration.
