This role is critical to the engagement efforts for the Alumni Association as it contributes to engagement of alumni through 1) managing / advising the 31 Ambassadors and all their events as alumni / student liaisons, 2) alumni reunions, regional chapter and affinity club activities, and 3) developing the Young Alumni program of current ULM students. Duties and Responsibilities
- As University Advisor, provide leadership, oversight and event planning for 31 Ambassadors program. Manage their events, budget, reimbursements from university, retreat, recruitment/interview/election process, training, and board mentorship program.
- Establish new and maintain relationships with existing alumni chapter / affinity club / reunion groups working together to define programming and assist in managing their Alumni Association engagements including budget, campus venue, alumni outreach, and related services.
- Evaluate /enhance effectiveness of 31 Ambassador, and Chapter/Club/Reunion events regularly to assess and enhance engagement results.
- Contribute to planning coordination and execution of for signature alumni engagement programs and events.
- Collaborate with campus partners to engage, steward and manage important alumni relationships, volunteers and allies to the Alumni Association.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required; awarded from ULM preferred.- 2+ years experience in alumni affairs or in a related field, including non-profit management, event planning, corporate relations,
