The Binaytara Foundation is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as the new Associate Director of Development. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Associate Director will partner closely with the Major Gifts team, supervise a development team member, and will be at the heart of BTF's revenue strategy. This breakout role is a prime opportunity for a growth-oriented fundraiser to post impressive results, build on BTF's robust sponsorship program, and grow as a leader within a development team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of BTF's industry partners and sponsors - the highest revenue driving segment for the foundation, supporting via conference sponsorships and marketing
- Maximize foundation-hosted conferences and events as prime opportunities to cultivate relationships with existing sponsors and engage new prospects. Expected travel is between 10-20% to represent BTF at identified conferences and events
- Manage a small portfolio of major donors
- Support the CDO in managing daily development operations
- Manage a portfolio of prospects, including individuals, corporations, and foundations, to identify their affinity and capacity for giving to the foundation
- Moves management, moving prospects through the donor pipeline
- Donor and prospect relationship building
- Collaborate with executive team to execute comprehensive fundraising strategies

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, communications, or a relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of full-time professional experience in fundraising and development in nonprofit organizations, preferably in the medical sector
- Proven track record of success in donor cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship
- Experience managing a portfolio of donors and prospects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using CRM databases, preferably Salesforce
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial spirit
- High level of initiative, self-motivation, and ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with keen attention to detail
- Passion for the work and mission of the Binaytara Foundation
- Experience working in a local or global healthcare and/or with doctors or grateful patient programs is a plus
Travel required approximately 1-2 trips per month to our project sites and conference locations, including overnight stays. Travel will include weekends and may involve driving as well as air.
This position is based at the Binaytara Foundation's office in Bellevue, Washington, and is a full-time, in-office position.
