Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the Opportunity?This role is part of Group Risk Management – U.S. Enterprise Risk, supporting oversight of Reputation and Conduct risk in RBC's Combined US Operations (CUSO), RBC's Intermediate Holding Company (RIHC) and branches within the U.S. This role will provide oversight and guidance to the lines of business (LoB)s, coordinate with risk management functions in the US and Canada and assist in creating reporting for senior management and the Board.What will you do?Coordinate with stakeholders at the Enterprise and LoBs to ensure organizational alignment on reputation risk related issuesDevelop periodic reporting on reputation risk for senior management and the BoardCoordinate with stakeholders at the Enterprise and LoBs to ensure organizational alignment on reputation risk related issuesCoordinate with stakeholders at LoBs to rationalize various reputation risk management policies to the CUSO levelCoordinate and organize the CUSO Culture & Conduct Risk Committee with co-chairs of the committeePrepare semi-annual Culture and conduct risk reporting for senior management and the BoardCoordinate with stakeholders at the Enterprise and LoBs to ensure organizational alignment on culture and conduct risk related issuesAs priorities shift within the department, ad-hoc assignments will inevitably occur and resources are expected to be allocated as neededWhat do you need to succeed?Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law or other related fields5+ years previous experience work in a Risk Management role in a Financial Services organization.Knowledge of one or more key risk discipline (e.g., Enterprise, Market, Counterparty, Credit, Liquidity and Operational Risk)Experience with Reputation risk or Conduct risk oversightExperience developing processes and controls related to Heightened Standards or Reg YY will be prioritizedStrong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to influence multiple stakeholders at different levels of an organizationExperience managing complex projects and initiativesIn-depth knowledge of MS OfficeRequired: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Law or other related fieldsPreferred: Master's Degree in Business, Finance, Law or other related fields or Risk Management certification (e.g. FRM)What's in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
