Converts print production files into ebooks using in-house process. Prepares print production files for third-party vendor conversion, performs first-round quality control of the completed ebook, and manages any subsequent vendor reworks. Updates ebook files at divisional request or troubleshoots/updates in response to quality issues in market. Makes routine manual accessibility improvements to initials and updates, including some image description as necessary. Routes initials and updates through full production cycle (conversion, quality review/approval, and distribution) according to schedule. Maintains title-level database records, updating them with project status, complexity, workflow selection, and additional info. Participates in discussions within the team and with other teams as we work to improve our production processes and the digital reading experience.
