ESPNs Audience Engagement team is seeking a highly motivated Associate Editor in support of our delivery of video content to multiple digital platforms, including mobile, web and OTTs. Associate editors support the execution of our artwork and content presentation strategy, as well as perform quality control duties for live and VOD airings. The preferred location is CT but open to Los Angeles, CA. Responsibilities: The Associate Editor will create VOD and Live airing custom artwork using design software such as Photoshop. The Associate Editor will work with the larger Watch team to plan and strategize around custom art needs for upcoming VOD and Live airings. The Associate Editor will ensure custom artwork and promotional assets are accurately uploaded into central art software and displaying correctly across all digital platforms. The Associate Editor will learn and execute additional Audience Engagement tasks as needed, including but not limited, quality control and assurance across ESPN streaming touchpoints. Qualifications: Minimum of 1 years experience in sports digital media/and or marketing General Photoshop skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple and varied tasks Strong sports knowledge relating to teams, players and storylines Preferred Qualifications: Sports takes place on nights, weekends and holidays and those shifts will be regular and required Experience working with a variety of digital content management systems Required Education: High School Diploma Preferred Education: A B.S./B.A. degree in communication arts, journalism or new media or equivalent combination of education experience. ESPNMedia The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $58,630 to $78,650 per year based on a 40-hour work week. The amount of hours scheduled per week may vary based on business needs. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidates geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
