We are also hiring Bridge Engineers at all levels to support our growing Mobility Solutions Division.Our bridge engineers deliver technical solutions and detailed design, through construction, for medium to large and complex bridge projects in the New York metropolitan area and across the globe. We are supporting structural design projects for Bridge projects across the country, as well as Tunnels, Airports, Rail/Transit programs and have a very strong backlog of work! We have proficiency in all bridge designs including Long Span bridges, Segmental bridges, Cable Stayed bridges, Movable bridges and Suspension Bridges as well as conventional bridges. Join our team of experts and expand your career today!Responsibilities:Performs a variety of design and analysis duties for structural projects that could include Bridge rehabilitations and replacements, rail/transit structures, tolling gantries, tunnel structures, structures for airport facilities.Complete variety of assignments such as drawings, specifications, and other materials suitable for procurement and construction purposes, utilizing CAE/CAD as applicable. Prepare standard engineering computations, material quality takeoffs, estimates, surveys, and geometric designs.Use design software and CAE/CAD applications to implement project designs.Review small and portions of larger supplier drawing submittals and assists in performing quantity calculations for bid analyses.Under close supervision in the utilization of engineering theories and practices, develops the creation of engineering products that meet customer quality requirements.For design/build projects - may involve developing construction related plans and documents and some time going into the fieldProvides support for other engineering activities as required.Qualifications:Minimum of Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with Structural emphasis. Masters/Phd's also highly desirable0 to 3 years experience in Structural design/analysis (i.e., Some structural design experience in transportation infrastructure projects (bridge/rail/aviation/tunnel) or research experience in those areas preferred).In addition, an Engineer in Training (EIT) Certificate is preferredCandidates with Seismic analysis interest/experience of particular interestRequires basic process engineering knowledge, as well as a working knowledge of CAD and other PC software packages typically associated with engineering.Prefer both Microstation and AutoCAD Civil 3D experienceMinimum Clearance Required to Start:Not Applicable/NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 75 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
