Elevate Consultant – Talend Administration/Data Observability Focus

Location: Hybrid (3 days a week onsite), Chicago IL or Richardson TX

Contract: 6 Month Contract to Hire

Pay Rate: $30-$35 /hr. on W2 with benefits and trainings

Summary

Brooksource is seeking an Elevate Consultant to join our client as part of their Unified Data Platform (UDP) initiative. This role focuses on Talend, Azure, Databricks, and data observability while providing a unique opportunity to grow technical expertise in a collaborative and agile environment. As an Elevate Consultant, you'll receive hands-on training, mentorship, and the chance to work closely with a talented team to deliver innovative data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Participate in technical training (up to 3 hours per week) covering Talend, Azure, Databricks, and data observability tools.
• Support and contribute to the development of the Unified Data Platform as part of a Scrum team.
• Assist in ETL processes and data analysis while ramping up within the Talend/ETL/Data space.
• Collaborate with the product team to execute assigned tasks and meet project goals.
• Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions effectively within the team using Agile tools like Jira.
• Work under the guidance of a mentor (current Talend Admin) to accelerate growth and technical understanding.
• Deliver high-quality results while adhering to project timelines and business objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills with a proactive, ambitious, and eager-to-learn attitude.
• Bachelors Degree or Bootcamp completion in relevant studies (Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity)
• General knowledge of the following:

• Project completion or personal projects that relate to the concepts above.
• Contributing to a GitHub portfolio with relevant material is a plus.
