Associate Hospitality Liaison - Northwell Health : Job Details

Provides reception, customer service and information services to patients, visitors and the community. Assists in maintaining a friendly and welcoming environment and offering assistance to discharged patients who need assistance to a vehicle. Job Responsibility Welcomes incoming patients and visitors and provides them with pertinent information; follows policies and procedures regarding disclosure of patient information and appropriately directs to department and floor; recognizes the special needs of patients and families under stress. Demonstrates knowledge of visiting hours for all patient areas; welcomes ambulatory patients and directs them appropriately; demonstrates knowledge of current locations of ambulatory offices, departments, laboratories and patient areas. Provides patient with hospital map; assists disabled patients with wheelchairs or escort if necessary; provides incoming visitors with information about meetings, conferences and other public information.
