The Opportunity: This is an opportunity to advance your career development in compensation consulting area through participation in the development of job descriptions.
- Assist in the review of detailed information about the client's roles, responsibilities, qualifications, and experience.
- Write job descriptions for clients in a prescribed template and format, using defined process
- Conduct ad hoc research and provide intellectual capital/marketing support to further enhance the Practice's service offerings
- Help prepare project documents (ex: research requests, presentations, etc.)
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary
Key Requirements: - One to two years of professional experience in a professional services or human resources environment is preferred
- General experience writing or supporting the writing of job descriptions is preferred
- Basic knowledge of compliance requirements for job description content/requirements, Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) provisions and human resources terminology, highly preferred
- Proficiency in English grammar and spelling
- Intermediate skills (practical application) in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; ability to work with word processing, data management, and various spreadsheet formats
- Attention to detail, accuracy and high quality outcomes
