The Associate role will provide essential support to the Equity Capital Markets Team for their capital raising efforts in a sales support capacity. This role will be responsible for supporting senior members of the capital team in developing real estate investment product marketing presentations, participating in capital raising operations and execution, performing investor and investment market research, and participating in other workstreams as necessary to successfully develop new and existing investor relationships and capitalize RXR's investment strategies. The position entails working in a dynamic and growing Equity Capital Markets team, as well as liaising with other teams across the firm such as RXR's Acquisitions, Asset Management, and Credit teams, as RXR seeks to capitalize existing and new investment offerings for its clients. The Associate will engage with a diverse range of global institutional and non-institutional investors, including some of the world's largest capital allocators.
A successful associate will be proactive, tenacious and possess extreme organizational skills.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and manage investor presentations for various RXR investment vehicles, strategies, and transactions
+ Develop and maintain presentations to the highest possible quality working closely with other members of the Equity Capital Markets team and Chief Strategy Officer, Head of Equity Capital Markets
+ Perform market research to bolster strategic narrative with real time data
+ Manage version control and distribution of various marketing materials
+ Participate in the creation of ad-hoc marketing or update materials for specific RXR partners or investors
+ Work with RXR's Chief Compliance Officer to ensure offering materials and the distribution of the same are compliant with applicable regulations
+ Assist in the creation of investment vehicle documentation and diligence materials
+ Participate in creation of Private Placement Memorandums ( PPMs ), Due Diligence Questionnaires ( DDQs ), Limited Partnership Agreements ( LPAs ), and other legal documentation
+ Participate in the production, maintenance, and distribution of file repositors ( Data Rooms ) for assigned RXR investment products
+ Participate in investor outreach and follow up management
+ Perform investor market research to create regular internal reports on investor announcements / press releases, Requests for Proposals ( RFPs ), and other data that may indicate an investor's interest in RXR offerings.
+ Assist in preparing distinct prospect lists for specific offerings by using data tools, such as Preqin, RXR's internal data, and other sources of investor market insights.
+ Organize investor meetings and coordinate related logistics
+ Participate in certain prospective and existing investor meetings
+ Track all investor correspondence through RXR's Customer Relationship Management system ( CRM ) and ensure timely communications and responses to prospective investors
+ Liaise with other RXR teams and verticals to prepare responses to investor diligence questions
+ Manage Non-Disclosure Agreement preparation, distribution, negotiation, and execution
+ Participate in updating reoccurring internal Equity Capital Markets reporting
Qualifications
+ Systems Proficiency: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
+ Communication and Outreach: Participate in investor outreach and follow up management; track and manage all correspondence in a timely manner, with the ability to influence.
+ Presentation Ability: Expert ability to create clear and persuasive investor presentations and specific marketing materials for various investment vehicles, strategies, and transactions. Ensure materials and distribution of the same are compliant with applicable regulations.
+ Documentation and Diligence: Conduct market research and assist in the creation of investment vehicle documentation and diligence materials. Develop legal documentation including Private Placement Memorandums, Due Diligence Questionnaires, Limited Partnership Agreements. Produce, maintain, and distribute file repositors for assigned investment products.
+ Outstanding organization skills: Detail oriented, proactive, efficient, strategic, and able to multitask. Able to proactively prioritize multiple work streams and progress distinct projects simultaneously

Experience and Education
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ 1-3 years of experience in a similar capital raising or sales operations/support role, preferably within real estate finance
+ Experience creating investment product marketing presentations
+ Experience with investment product documentation (e.g. Private Placement Memos; Offering Memos)
+ Experience using Customer Relationship Management software
+ Experience answering due diligence questionnaires
+ Experience with investor relations and prospective investor communications
+ Experience participating in website and social media content creation, specifically as it relates to investment strategy and firm-wide investment capabilities
