They are responsible for creating a memorable experience by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and clean environment that encourages our bidders to return. Accuracy and efficiency is the cornerstone of our success as a business and being an Associate is one of the best ways to start out here at BidFTA. This position requires somebody who has a desire to directly impact the success of a business with their exceptional customer service, work ethic, and attention to detail. We're a fast paced but casual work environment that's moving into a new growth stage and need people who are excited and passionate about the work they do and the team they are part of!Job Duties include but are not limited to:* Welcome and answer customer questions about the auction pick up process* Prepare for auction pickup by downstacking pallets and organizing items accordingly* Offer friendly assistance to customers that need help finding their items* Perform customer checkout procedures* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment* Lot product: photograph, grade, and confirm accurate description of auction items* Stay informed and adhere to BidFTA policies and proceduresFull-Time position with health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance, Paid Time Off, and 401(k) with Company Match.Requirements* Friendly and helpful* Willingness to engage with customers* Excellent communication skills* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a fast paced environment* Detail oriented* 18 years of age or older* Ability to work quickly and efficiently* Ability to work well as part of a team* Proven history of strong work ethic* Willingness to learn new things* Adaptability to change* Technological literacy - Experience using an IOS device (iPad) is a plus but not required training will be provided.* Ability to work in a warehouse environment - Non temperature-controlled environment, lifting items/boxes overhead, standing for extended periods of time, squatting, ability to lift and carry up to 40lbs
