Our incredible spaces support executive receptions, non-profit fundraising events, customer networking and more. We are looking for an experienced, multi-talented events professional who can wrangle thousands of moving parts, be talented in event production elements, and be a part of a fast-paced events and hospitality team. The Associate Event Manager, Hospitality and Events, Workplace Services, will oversee activities across our dynamic New York Tower, executing event management in our state-of-the-art Auditorium, 'Ohana Floor, & Campus. This individual can expect direct interaction with executives, customers, and partners and will work closely with hospitality, facilities, and marketing teams. This position is very hands-on in the day-to-day planning and execution of our hospitality and events.The position is responsible for the operational excellence for our events and the comprehensive guest experience including but not limited to:
  • Executive receptions, partner events, non-profit events, and employee events
  • Solid people management skills to lead, educate and motivate a team
  • Strong customer service and executive interaction experience
  • Communicate comfortably and effectively with executives and their support staff
  • Ability to multi-task many events and projects at one time
  • Anticipate the needs of the business and work with a sense of urgency to ensure client satisfaction.
  • Understand Salesforce brand and product positioning with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging
  • Communicate regular event updates to management including executive leadership
  • Continuous improvement and maintain global team documents and or playbooks for events
  • Ability to be consultative with clients looking to host events in our spaces and possess strong public speaking skills
  • Pre, onsite and post event logistical management
  • Key Collaborator for G-Cal calendar management for internal event space
  • Resolve event goals, create and track measurements and metrics, including event surveys
  • Co-manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams: Sales, Real Estate, Creative Team, Facilities, Employee Engagement, and Salesforce. Org, Office of the CEO, and Office of Equality to support direct efforts and collaborate closely to develop and successfully execute programs
  • Research and report creative event options and entertainment based on program format and budget
  • Lead and develop a team of employees to ensure the successful completion of projects and the achievement of team goals
  • Implement strategies to improve team performance and productivity
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity
  • Participate in hiring and onboarding processes to build a strong team
