Duration: 9-month contract

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Associate Manager to assist with the Windows 11 migration project at our hospital. The successful candidate will leverage their background in desktop support management, supervision, training, and mentorship to ensure a smooth transition to Windows 11, minimizing disruption to hospital operations and patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Assistance: Support the Operations Manager in planning, executing, and finalizing the Windows 11 migration.
  • Team Supervision: Supervise and mentor a team of IT technicians, providing guidance and support throughout the migration process.
  • Training Coordination: Develop and deliver training programs for hospital staff on the new operating system.
  • Technical Oversight: Assist in the technical aspects of the migration, including software compatibility, hardware requirements, and network configurations.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the migration, ensuring minimal impact on hospital operations.
  • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including progress reports, issue logs, and training materials.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Facilitate communication between hospital staff, IT teams, and external vendors to ensure alignment on project goals and timelines.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure all systems and devices are thoroughly tested and validated post-migration to maintain hospital standards and patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in desktop support management, with supervisory, training, and mentorship responsibilities.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of Windows operating systems, particularly Windows 11, and experience with large-scale IT migrations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified: Windows Client).

Compensation:

$__33__/hr to $__41__/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
