Essential Duties and Tasks

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made, upon request, to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  • Monitor all production machines and stock with raw materials and work-in-process as needed, using clamp and/or fork trucks.
  • Use hand held scanners and desk top computers for maintaining machine schedules, transferring material and to process paperwork
  • Receive raw materials using clamp and/or fork trucks.
  • Ship finished goods using clamp and/or fork trucks.
  • Pump resin from hopper cars to silo.
  • Remove, sort and recycle scrap waste
  • May be required to perform other housekeeping and/or other manufacturing related functions as required by Management.

Required to drive the company owned/leased truck between plant locations

Work Environment

Work primarily in a non-climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required.

  • Climbing Stairs, Bending, Twisting, Reaching, Pushing, Pulling and Squatting.
  • Walking or standing on concrete floors.
  • Lifting is minimal, occasionally up to 40 lbs.
  • Ability to operate heavy equipment/machinery safely.
  • Shift formats vary (12 hours days)
