Qualifications you'll bring:

    • An associate's degree in a business/accounting/math related area preferred, but not required
    • Two years of experience in customer service, accounts receivable, or other related industries
  • The availability to work full-time, virtually within New York State
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent computer experience including Microsoft Excel and Word

Your key responsibilities:

  • Completing the team's daily workload including billing and payment related transaction processing, reconciliation, and research, for all assigned accounts
  • Working closely with multiple internal departments to provide excellence in servicing all MVP customers, including member direct bill and employer group accounts
  • Interacting directly with MVP customers to ensure correct billing, payment allocation and collection activity
  • Accurately process reconciliations and/or payment transactions daily, maintaining weekly and monthly Excel spreadsheets, working various reports, multi-tasking projects, and the completion of incoming customer requests within the department
  • Must be able to collaborate as a team player or work independently
  • Ability to determine discrepancy root cause and recommend solutions
  • Required to meet departmental quality control standards and deadlines
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Where you'll be:

Remote/Virtual with ability to come into the Schenectady, Rochester or Tarrytown offices for special events and training
