This role is ideal for individuals passionate about identifying vulnerabilities and helping organizations improve their security posture.   • Perform penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on various client environments, including networks, web applications, and systems.
  • Collaborate with clients to communicate findings and provide actionable remediation recommendations.
  • Assist in regulatory IT controls-focused compliance audits (SOC 2, NIST CSF, GLBA), offering both technical and compliance-based insights.
  • Stay current with evolving cybersecurity threats, techniques, and industry best practices.
  • Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Participate in continued learning and professional development to enhance technical skills and certifications.
  • Travel up to 8-10 weeks per year for client engagements, as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • United States Citizenship is required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of penetration testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in technical report writing.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity regulations and frameworks, such as SOC 2, NIST CSF, and GLBA, is highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel for work during the business week.
Preferred Certifications
  • Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP).
  • If not certified, candidates must demonstrate the ability to obtain certification.
