Join us as a Associate Project Manager LPC
Your main responsibilities - Implement customer and Schindler requirements for quality, performance reliability and passenger safety for each project under supervision.
- Review all new awarded project scope and schedule providing action plans if required to overcome issues, notifying the Manager of any outstanding items.
- Ensure timely invoicing, per SOVs agreed with the Customers, and ensure projects are invoiced and paid to 90% prior to project turn over.
- Ensure down payments are obtained timely along with progress payments to avoid bad debt impact.
- Facilitate the engineering submittal approval process as a liaison between Schindler Engineering, architect, general contractor, consultant and the customer
- Influence installation scheduling and manpower allocation to fulfill calendar year budget commitments
- Process subcontracts for formal review to SEC HQ legal, facilitate favorable contract supplement changes and obtain the executed signatures by both the customer and SEC.
- Ensure insurance requirements are met along with OCPL OCIP, obtain / submit tax exempt certificates to HQ tax department.
- Provide approved submittals to Schindler Engineering and/or local vendors following project booking award; coordinate and follow up with factory, local vendors, issue P.O.'s, 500 orders and superintendent on the delivery of project material from the HUB to ensure that all required material is ready prior to project start date
- Manage project scope and seek change notice opportunities.
- As the POC for the customer, prepare all change order paperwork and forward to the customer for approval in a timely manner. Input and track change orders in SAP to ensure proper segmentation.
- Follow up on change orders, received signed change orders from the customer prior to any related work being completed.
- File and submit for any project required permits or certificates required by local code or AHJ
- Follow and accurately manage new installation projects to ensure that projects close-out turnover on schedule and on budget at the required efficiency and profitability levels
- Interface with the Field Superintendent to track monitor job progress and financial performance and notify manager if required completion dates cannot be met; provide action plan and time frame for completion
- Participate in Company professional development programs to enhance working knowledge of Elevator Company products, services and procedures.
What you bring - Relevant Associates Degree, BA, BS, or Construction Management degree.

The base salary for this position will range between $87,500 to $107,100
