DESCRIPTION:
Thomas University, an independent, not-for-profit, institution of higher education in Thomasville, Georgia with undergraduate and graduate programs invites applicants for the position of Assistant/Associate Registrar. The position requires working extensively with student data records, and the student life cycle from acceptance to graduation. Reporting to the Registrar, the position is available as a remote position.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Prior experience in a Registrar's office
* Proficient with Microsoft Office suite
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
* Proven ability to think strategically and prioritize multiple tasks effectively
* Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
* Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or reminders to complete tasks.
* Adherence to professional ethics including confidentiality
* Punctual and industrious work habits
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Prior experience with Jenzabar, Canvas or other campus and learning management systems is preferred
* A Bachelor's degree is strongly preferred, plus related experience in higher education.
