This is an excellent opportunity to join a multi-faceted global firm and gain exposure to a variety of financial transactions.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSAnalysis and Modeling
Analysis - Provide analytical support including due diligence, analysis, and data collection to ensure the accuracy of information provided. Perform industry, asset, and operational analysis on key performance indicators such as inventory productivity, gross margin, and operating expenses. Modeling - Build and present financial models and provide recommendations. Due Diligence - Develop a qualitative understanding of nuances that may affect asset values. Support financial modeling and analysis for assigned Store Closing Projects. Support the development of initial proformas. Support development of a projected proforma based on inventory composition and costs, historical sales, duration of sale, expenses, and discounting cadence. Monitor the daily deal results and make adjustments as directed. Develop deal-specific investment overview packages in advance of investment committee approval meeting.Deal Operations (Brands, Commercial & Industrial, Retail) Support deal activity, restructurings, and negotiation. Review deal agreements to develop a thorough understanding of requirements and obligations. Monitor, review and analyze ongoing deals and their operations through completion. Support the deal team to ensure commitments are being met. Support the development and delivery of presentations.EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field of study. 2-3 years post-undergrad relevant work experience. Proficiency with Microsoft applications in a Windows-based environment. MS Excel and MS Word are required.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES Commitment to high achievement and initiative. Drive to make an impact on our business. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication (written and oral) skills. Ability to build solid working relationships with internal & external partners. Follows established methodologies and uses standard models and templates. Ability to manage multiple projects with the support of a team. Time management and the ability to handle tight deadlines.
