Position InformationHiring Manager:Vice PresidentDepartment:SolutionsDepartment OverviewThe Solutions Team is responsible for ideation, planning and execution of strategic product initiatives for the Firm with a focus on driving growth and profitability. The team collaborates with Firm leadership and business unit leaders to plan and execute high impact projects such as new fund launches, product extensions, customized separate account vehicles and new multi-product strategic partnerships. The team also oversees and seeks to optimize the Firm's existing suite of investor products.Position ResponsibilitiesThe Associate will contribute to research and development efforts for innovative new products and support various project workstreams, partnering with internal teams on the implementation and operational setup of new funds and products.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:* Assisting in the execution of sophisticated, high impact new product development and implementation initiatives* Participating in the design and execution of new versions of existing products* Building and maintaining financial models to determine the short-term and long-term impact of new product initiatives* Partnering with internal teams including Fund Accounting, Operations, Treasury, Structured Products, Tax and Legal to build out necessary workflows and operationalize new products* Assisting with creating project plans, tracking achievements and reporting progress to Solutions Leadership* Providing leverage to the Solutions Team on the management of investor product lines* Conducting market research on fund structures, regulatory implications and competitors to identify key industry trends* Gathering and analyzing industry data to drive product strategyCandidate RequirementsQualifications & Experience:* Bachelor's degree required* 2+ years of experience at a top-tier financial services, investment management, strategic consulting or private equity firm, preferably in a product development and strategy capacity* High level of intellectual curiosity with a desire to develop skills and learn* Strong quantitative, financial modeling and analytical skills* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy and drive to deliver high-quality work* Strong project and process management skills* Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment* Abide by our work-in-office policies then in effectCritical Competencies for SuccessOur Gold Standards Model defines key behaviors and competencies across 4 dimensions: Leadership, Achieving Results, Personal Effectiveness and Thinking Critically. They are driven to exceed expectations and adaptable to changing circumstances.Compensation and BenefitsFor New York Only: It is expected that the base salary range for this position will be $145,000 to $175,000. Actual salaries may vary based on factors such as skills, experiences and qualifications for the role. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits such as vacation, sick time and parental leave) dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
