- 75% Health care services for assigned team(s)
- Coordinate and deliver athletic training services daily to assigned team(s).
- Provide care and manage injuries and illnesses, including prevention, evaluation, management, and rehabilitation strategies.
- Maintain proper records of injuries, treatment, rehabilitation, and exposure.
- Communicate effectively with the Associate Athletics Director, Head Athletic Trainer, Supervisor, coaches, parents, military personnel, and physicians in all matters of cadet health and safety.
- Design and supervise rehabilitation programs.
- Refer cadet-athletes to the appropriate physician according to accepted guidelines.
- Collaborate with sports performance staff (e.g., strength and nutrition) on matters of cadet-athlete wellness and return to play.
- 10% Education & Prevention
- Provide education and instruction to cadet-athletes on the prevention and care of musculoskeletal injuries.
- Supervise athletic training students and cadet managers/trainers for assigned team(s).
- 10% Risk Mitigation and other duties as assigned.
- Implements risk mitigation strategies in collaboration with the performance team.
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor or Associate Athletics Director, Head Athletic Trainer.

- Must be able to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by the athletics schedule.
- Able to lift > 75 lbs.
- Ability to move self and athletic training supplies to athletic training rooms and storerooms.
- Consistently operate computer and productivity machinery such as calculator, copy machine, and medical modalities.
- This position frequently communicates with cadet-athletes, coaches, physicians, and staff regarding cadet health and wellness. Must be able to communicate and share information with all parties.
- Consistently works in outdoor weather conditions when providing direct support at outdoor practice and competition facilities.
Travel Travel as necessary with the team(s) to away contests. Up to 20% of the time may be committed to travel and overnight stays.Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training or related field
- National Athletic Trainers' Association Certification
- Board of Certification License
- New York State Athletic Trainers' Certification/License or eligible
- Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
- Able to operate Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree
- 1-2 years of athletic training experience with a Division I intercollegiate athletics program or related experience
- Manual therapy skill sets
- Competency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and medical records software.
Additional Eligibility Requirements
- Must be eligible to work in the United States of America without sponsorship.
- Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including willing to submit to a background screen.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
