Shift: **7 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.** Status: **Casual** 101 W. Windsor Road

Urbana, IL 61802 ****

**Openings:**

+ 7 a.m. - 7p.m.

+ 7 a.m. - 5 p.m.

+ 1:00 p.m. - 11:00 p.m.

+ 7p.m. - 7 a.m.

**Pay:**

****$14.00-$18.75 an hour!!!!****

**As a home caregiver, responsibilities may include:**

* Assisting in light housekeeping such as vacuuming, dusting, dishes, or other chores the client may need help with.

* Providing companionship to our clients.

* Communicating and reporting to team members.

* Helping with errand running such as grocery shopping, doctors appointments, post office stops, and more.

* Involvement in daily activity engagement.

* Caregivers prepare meals.

* Medication reminders.

* Assisting with bathing or grooming needs.

**Job Requirements:**

* Must be able to pass a criminal background check.

* In order to protect the health and well being of clients and team members, all employees must provide proof of COVID-19 and Flu vaccination prior to employment, or be granted an exemption.

* Due to the nature of this job, a valid Illinois Drivers License, reliable transportation, and car insurance that is up to date will be mandatory for caregivers.

* Must be have a high school diploma or equivalent.

* Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English Language.

* Caregivers Must abide by HIPAA privacy and security rules as described in the employee handbook.

* Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, clients, & general public.

* Must have or be willing to complete CPR certification.

* Must have basic knowledge of smart-phone technology.

* Must be able to prioritize tasks.

* Must be able to react appropriately for situations that may arise in client care settings.
