Bank of Marin, voted by our employees as one of the Best Places to Work in the North Bay Business Journal, is seeking an ATM & Card Services Associate to join our Consumer Services team at either our corporate office in Novato or our regional office in Rancho Cordova.

The ATM & Card Services Associate will be required to act as the central and primary resource for all internal/external clients and will effectively discuss all ATM and Card services and exceptions. This person will be responsible to compute, classify, record, and verify various Card and ATM items in conjunction of

Bank policy and regulatory requirements. This person will provide support and have the ability to solve problems by providing sound information to branches/customers with respect to card issuance and maintenance, Mobile Wallets, ATMs, fraud prevention and error claims with minimal supervision.

Essential Job Functions:

* Provide prompt, courteous service to the customers, employees and departments of Bank of Marin, ensuring professionalism, confidentiality, and a willingness to always assist.

* Process and respond to action items, customer communication, and inquiries generated via telephone, online, and email while maintaining friendly, clear and concise communication.

* Accurately validate and maintain ATM/Visa Debit card orders and changes in compliance with Bank policy and regulatory requirements inclusive of PIN Selection Agreement and Red Flag regulation validation.

* Analyze, process and resolve ATM/Visa Debit card corrections and issues for all levels of Retail Staff to ensure audit compliance and that regulatory standards are met.

* Address and resolve Fraud Alert notifications and identify potential fraud or customer service issues for ATM/Visa debit cards, ensuring timely resolution.

* Review, log, and process card, ATM, Mobile Wallet, and Fraud Alert support, providing internal and external clients with strong, experienced, and timely responses.

* Collect and validate required signatures and documentation for requests, exceptions, and reports.

* Document and report identified issues promptly to supervisor or manager for review.

* Perform accurate data entry for daily statistical logs, reports, and corrections, ensuring attention to detail and timeliness.

* Assist with training and provide technical guidance to other staff on services, operational procedures, and regulatory requirements.

* Analyze processes and procedures to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance department workflow and customer experience.

* Job Skills/Additional Requirements:

* Knowledge of applicable banking systems, policies, and procedures.

* Basic understanding of banking regulations, including Regulation E, J, CC, and Visa rules.

* Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams and external clients.

* Strong organizational and time management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

* Attention to detail and the ability to manage repetitive, complex tasks accurately within required timeframes.

* Exceptional customer service and telephone skills, with a positive attitude toward problem-solving and customer interaction.

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with fellow employees.

* Analytical thinking and mathematical aptitude to address customer inquiries and data entry accuracy.

* Ability to follow procedures, utilize available resources, and coordinate with other departments to resolve issues.

* Professional /Educational Experience:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) with 6 months - 1 year related experience and/or training required.

* A one-year certificate from college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
