Audit Director - Abacus Group, LLC : Job Details

Our client is a public accounting firm. They seek an Audit Director to join their Architecture, Engineering & Construction group in their Manhattan, NY office.

• Lead financial audits, including project contracts, financial statements, revenue recognition, and cost controls
• Review and evaluate internal controls, financial processes, and accounting practices to identify areas for improvement
• Develop and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and delivering exceptional service
• Prepare financial and strategic advice for clients, helping them make informed decisions to improve their business
• Mentor a team of audit senior managers, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations for the team
• Research industry regulations and accounting standards, ensuring clients' compliance and assessing any risks
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop the firm's strategic vision, business goals, and financial plans
• Support the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve audit efficiency and effectiveness

• 8+ years of audit experience
• Experience with Architecture, Engineering & Construction clients
• Knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong leadership and managerial skills
• CPA required
• Skilled in Excel
