  • Be the primary contact for clients via various communication channels.
  • Ensure accurate and timely information distribution.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client needs.
  • Engage with prospective clients and assist in proposals.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to offer additional services.
  • Technical Skills and Knowledge Base:
  • Support and guide other staff members.
  • Participate in all engagement stages, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Review staff work for accuracy and compliance.
  • Continuously enhance knowledge in audit and assurance services.
  • Communicate and implement audit and accounting changes.
Management:
  • Oversee staff, senior accountants, interns, and other audit team members.
  • Evaluate team performance and provide feedback.
  • Address challenges, find solutions, and communicate progress to shareholders.
  • Encourage staff growth and career progression.
Professionalism and Efficiency:
  • Adhere to budgeted hours and completion dates.
  • Ensure smooth firm operations through timely administrative duties.
  • Cultivate positive relationships within and outside the firm.
  • Resolve arising issues effectively.
  • Handle client information with utmost confidentiality.
Qualifications:
  • CPA certification required.
  • Bachelor's and/or advanced degree in accounting.
  • 5-7 years of public accounting experience.
  • 2-3 years of management/supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in computers, accounting software, and assurance software programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of state and local government accounting and auditing.
